The 2nd Asian Pacific Problem Gambling and Addictions Conference will be held in Hong Kong on 22-24 May 2008. This conference is jointly organized by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, Department of Social Work, Chinese University of Hong Kong and Division on Addictions, Cambridge Health Alliance, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School.

This year theme is International Challenges for Problem Gambling and Addiction: Toward a Syndrome Model Approach. Target participants include teachers, youth workers, health care providers, public health administrators, academic and researchers, gambling industry personnels and counseling professionals such as social workers, psychologists, counselors, etc.
